In partnership with the Greenville Homeless Alliance and local shelters, CCGH students and faculty conducted qualitative studies to determine factors that impacted whether or not the elderly homeless used shelters. Their findings can now be used as evidence for policy changes that could better meet the needs of Greenville’s older adults facing homelessness.
