A Center for the CCGH – Our Opportunity to Make a Global Difference
Your generous support of this campaign will build out:
- Community Health Room –This learning environment will have telehealth capabilities and will facilitate collaborative activities and host classes. It will connect the SHP community to health professionals, researchers, and students at hospitals, universities, and organizations across the world through Zoom technology.
- Faculty offices – A second wing of faculty offices is necessary to accommodate our continued growth.
- Public Health Research Lab – The Public Health Research Lab will be central to research for local and global projects. It will serve as a showplace for recruiting and will introduce prospective students to the many opportunities that are available to them for furthering their education in this field.

After my internship, I started working for Samaritan’s Purse full-time…[in] international roving programs support. I get to travel to different field offices around the world where my help is most needed in health programming. I love my job, and I can truly credit, first of all, the Lord, but also BJU and specifically the School of Health Professions for providing the rich educational foundation that opened my eyes to the needs of people around me, as it pertains to health. The importance of research and community health in both the local and global context cannot be overstated.
